If you’re among the millions of clueless grandmothers whose extended family members are screaming for one of these “Wii” do-jobbies, you’re in luck.  I think.

I’m not certain if Target ads are nationally standardized, but according to my “inside” knowledge, this Sunday (November 2^nd) holds the glorious promise of retail-fueled madness.  Both Wii hardware and the extremely coveted Wii Fit bundle will be featured in this weekend’s new circular, meaning you and about a hundred other console-hungry shoppers get to battle it out for whatever stock your local store has.  The only thing we as Target team-members can’t tell you is how many we’re going to have—which is relatively easy, since we really have no clue in the first place what the supply will be like until it gets pulled off the truck.  So, simple enough.

If you’d like to get your hands on one, I would recommend finding out what time your Target opens, and getting there a half hour to an hour beforehand (give yourself more time for Wii Fit, since it’s the harder item to get a hold of).

This might be the last ad on Wii consoles and Wii-Fit bundles before the dreaded period between Thanksgiving and Christmas during which retail salespeople take bets on which customer will knock out the other, so if you have the time this Sunday, set your alarm early and your phasers to “fun.”
